we had a very nice trek from Lamayuru to Darcha trek in August/September.
I am sorry it has taken me so long to write to thank you very much for a fantastic crew to support our trek. The entire trek was perfect in every way and that was due to the work of our crew, who predicted our needs and acted in our interests before we ourselves knew that we had a need or wish. They worked together co-operatively to get the work done every day in the most efficient manner. We always felt cared for and safe. Words cannot describe the special experience I had.
Our guide was Stanzin from zanskar and we all thought we were very lucky to have been given him as our guide. Lobzang testa was a most excellent cultural and trekking guide who enriched our experience way beyond our expectations. His knowledge of, and connection with, Buddhism was a bonus I had not expected and I learnt a lot from him.
They Sing were always cheerful, friendly and helpful. Nantak cooked the best food, with great variety and we were continuously amazed at what he produced (even a decorated cake for our last evening) of the last day of Trek.
I will happily recommend Tsarap Himalayan adventures to anyone considering travel in your region and you may use my testimonial in any way you wish. All the best and keep it up.

I am Claude Balsiger from Swiszerland, regarding to your travel company I am very appreciate to inform that, since 1999 I am always doing a cycling trip oragnsiesed by you in a various trekking of remote trek route all over the Ladakh, zanskar and Himachal predesh lahoul Spiti valley, I enjoyed a lots with memorable.
In year of 2013 winter you organized a cycling trip to zanskar until Old and famous Monestery of Fuktal gonpa. Over the -25 degree on zanskar river frozen ice blanket sheet. It was a first event in the Zero degree during the winter. Really it cober 180 kilometer in sub zero degree.
Zanskar assistant Tourim T Namgail invite us for Lunch and h e gave us a appreciation with cognate and succeeded merit certificate. After e he publish our name in the Ladakh and Times India media of news paper. I always recommend to your travel agency to all of my colleague and friends.

Great Zanskar with Rupsho kharnak trek – AUGUST 2013
Since week ago, we've returned to the hustle and bustle of France Country and we haven't stopped raving and reminiscing about the fabulous time we had trekking from Padum Zanskar to Shang Sumdo. We just wanted you to know that we have really enjoyed having owner of Tsarap Himalayan adventure, Mr Stanzin Tundup from zanskar as our trek guide. His enthusiasm to share his knowledge of the wildlife and the local culture has enriched the experience of our trek tenfold. Just when the walking sometimes gets too tedious, he would point out a herd of blue sheep, a pug mark left by a snow leopard or a few wild asses on a ridge; wild life we would have missed have we been trudging on our own. He knows when to slow down and quicken the pace when there is need. We have felt really safe and well looked after by your staff the whole time. There was one particular river crossing that we were quite worried as we have read that the river can be uncrossable in July. Fortunately with all the prayers and offerings that Tundup has made to Buddha along the trek, it must have paid off as the river did not swell to an unmanageable level.
We've also enjoyed the variety of food Tsampa pabha, skue, Momo and other many things prepared for us every meal and the effort your staff had made to make the dining tent a cozy place to eat (candles and napkins! wow!) His kitchen tent is so organized and as we are used to preparing our own simple food when camping, it is a really pleasant change not to worry about that aspect this time round. He has definitely impressed us with his apple pie, pizza and cake-baking skill. Since our return, I have tried to replicate one of his egg curry recipe but somehow haven't got it quite right yet.
Niyamdu –dro Assocaiation from Frace installed a Mini solar Plant in Markah velley and zanskar Lungnak valley.Since nine year ago we help to Zanskar Ladakh for lighting in the such remote area.

First edition of Zanskar & Ladakh Adventure Trail in India, the race includes racing cum hiking from the starting point Darcha with is in Himachal Pradesh, and moving into the zanskar valley via Shinglo-La 5530m in altitude and entering the peaceful and nomadic Zanskar valley. The end point is KANJI Lamayuru in Leh district. It is about 24km and 7735m in altitude 6952m positive.et negative.
First edition of Zanskar & Ladakh Adventure & Race in India never organized ever before. The Race include running in the mountains connecting the villages of Darcha(H.P)-Zanskar-Lamayuru in Ladakh region. It is about 240km and 7735m in altitude 6952m positively.
There will be a Race and also trekking for walker group practicing at an altitude of about 4000m all the time. The trail was all the year successful by the best organize with your dynamic trekking staff. We will keep friendship and organize such a race all the year, keep it up.
